CSO Centre Equestre du Val de Sienne

Photography from my day out with the team at CSO Centre Equestre du Val de Sienne. A good day all around, fine weather, happy horses, and two first places. Starting early in the morning, the light change from sunrise to sunny day was wonderful.

Autumnal show jumping competitions are always a gamble for the weather. Lucky for us the sun was warm and the clouds were non-existent. Because of the lovely weather, photography was fun and easy!

Understanding the basics of equestrian sports photography is easy, it’s just the practise that comes after. Thanks to the team for letting me accompany them to CSO Centre Equestre du Val de Sienne in Manche.

If you have a basic understanding of the Exposure Triangle, you will know that outdoor photography is very much weather-dependent.

November is always tricky, from clouds to blue skies in the blink of an eye. With an early morning start, it was great to get some golden hour moments.

I am currently taking bookings for shoots local to me (up to 80km) so feel free to get in touch for information!
