CSO photography or showjumping to my anglophone friends is one of my favourite sports to watch and capture. It is only second to dressage, which you can find some examples of here in my last event post! A small peak into my day out with the team in Gavray, Manche. For another competition, but thisContinue reading “CSO Photography Gavray”
Photography from my day out with the team at CSO Centre Equestre du Val de Sienne. A good day all around, fine weather, happy horses, and two first places. Starting early in the morning, the light change from sunrise to sunny day was wonderful. Autumnal show jumping competitions are always a gamble for the weather.Continue reading “CSO Centre Equestre du Val de Sienne”
Normandie Dressage holds events across Normandy, most notably at the Haras Nationaux in Saint Lô. Every year I go along to finals week to see amateurs and professionals alike compete. “𝘙𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘣𝘣𝘺, 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦. This year has been a year of snapshots and I am so happy there has been such a variety so far. To change it up yet again, this post showcases photos from my last concert and visit at Le Manoir de la Guérinière. Le Manoir de la Guérinière Based in Passais Villages of the OrneContinue reading “Le Manoir de la Guérinière”
Check out my last snapshot post here of Equestrian Vaulting! I love equine photography, it is the main reason I started this blog way back in 2016, so sharing little Equestrian photography snippets is a little nostalgic to when the blog was horseandsport! Had a very short little shoot with these two after a displayContinue reading “Equestrian Portrait Photoshoot”
Something a little different from the usual horse sports, Equestrian Vaulting Photography! A display from the HDP team for their open day. Vaulting is described by the FEI (Fédération Équestre Internationale) as “a harmonious bond between horse and athlete that creates awe-inspiring acrobatic displays of skill and precision.” Simply, gymnastics on horseback. Horse riding isContinue reading “Equestrian Vaulting Photography”
Instead of waiting until the end of the month to share books I have read, I have decided to jump on the TTT trend or Top Ten Tuesday!
It’s about time I share with you one of my huge 2020 moments…
Presets for me are a time saver and a wonderful way to keep my style consistent. Especially when a client wants a certain look!
Here are 6 presets I’ve made especially for those Equine shots.
It’s the start of Foal Season. This means cute photos of foals. Stay tuned for all my upcoming albums! Foals are so much fun to take pictures of as they are both energetic and curious. Spending time playing with these youngsters, and taking pictures is a joy. The foals here are all KWPN jumpers, lookingContinue reading “Foal Season”
Not going to lie, I do like to write a strongly worded letter and email every so often. More than often I am ignored or replied to along the lines off “I don’t appreciate the aggressive nature of your writing” or “No need for such aggressive vocabulary.” Although I find that highly offensive to beginContinue reading “Weight off my Chest”
A little post about the trials and the start of the season with AUE Equestrian Photogtaphy. It is so good to be back in the arena with horses dancing around you. Equine photography has got to be a major passion of mine, and any event has reinforced this. As part of the university, Aberystwyth UniversityContinue reading “AUE Equestrian Photogtaphy”
Balancing Student Life and Sport is a fine art. University requires long hours of study and lectures. But you can’t be sititng around all day. It’s been a while since now since I was riding every week and seeing all these horse shows and posts from my friends with horses have me craving to getContinue reading “Student Life and Sport”
