Books are my go-to form of escapism. Reading has always been cheaper and safer than travel – getting lost in a good book has never been better. The book blog is where I journal the books I like, the books I have read, and the reviews I have collaborated with independent authors. Please note, these are all personal opinions on the books, so not all recommendations will be up to individual standards. I love finding myself lost in a book, regardless of whether it is good or bad and. I will be honest about that. Ratings are based on enjoyability, the writing, and the overall storyline. A good book for me may be absolutely terrible but enabled me to escape from reality for a few hours.
I am open to collaborating in reviewing books, so please contact me here or reach out on social media!
Has it really been two months already? February is often taken over by valentine’s day, and as a single pringle, I love some romance. But, romance is not high on the list for my February 2023 books. Continuing on Sarah J Maas’s universe, and starting the many books on my TBR pile, February has been…
Happy New Year! Another year, another reading challenge. This year I intend on smashing at least 75 books. Starting off strong with my January 2023 in books. Kicking off the year, I started on Sarah J Maas’s universe, as well as some anticipated reads of mine. To keep updated with all my reading shenanigans, add…
2022 in books. 12 months, 72 books, and countless amount of pages. The challenge I set myself for reading this year was to read 60 books, focus on the books I have on my shelves already, and try and be more involved in new releases. It is safe to say I have managed to achieve…
December has come to an end already, and again another month has flown by! My December 2022 in books has been vast. Not just in terms of amount, but also genre. I managed to get around to my most anticipated books of the year, and they have been 100% worth it. This month has the…
Historical Fiction is a genre I am very enamored with, so naturally reviewing this book, The Silent Chapter: A Heartwarming and Heartbreaking Love Story in Twentieth-Century Britain, was an easy decision to make. The title in itself grabbed my attention; 20th century Britain you say? Yes, please!
Another delayed book post, but here is my November 2022 in books. It was a wild start being in the UK and driving around, and then having a flurry of photography work, finding time to read the books on my TBR has been a time in itself. My most anticipated read of the year, Babel…
This one is a little late… but between travel, work, and new business ventures, the blog has kind of been put on the back burner. However, it is better late than never and I have read some fantastic books these last couple of months. In my attempts to read more than historical fiction and romance…
My taste in books changes with the seasons. I admit last autumn/winter I read far too many murder mystery and thriller books that I could probably write my own! Anyway seeing as my post on the top ten equestrian books proved popular, I decided to go ahead and give you another list of ten books,…
